Rob Jamieson
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Rob was appointed Orion's chief executive officer in August 2011. He has worked for Orion since 1994 in various capacities, most recently as General Manager Commercial. Rob has extensive electricity industry experience, including an engineering role in the generation sector, a commercial role for a private company, management experience with a rural North Island power company and managing wholesale electricity purchases for Orion's predecessor, Southpower Limited.

  


Brendan Kearney
GENERAL MANAGER CORPORATE SERVICES

Brendan leads the Orion corporate team, which is responsible for the corporate finance function of the business. Brendan is also a director of Connetics Limited and 4RF Communications Limited.
He is a chartered accountant with the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a fellow of Chartered Secretaries New Zealand. Brendan joined Orion in 1988 and previously worked for the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand and international accounting firm Arthur Young.

Craig Kerr
GENERAL MANAGER INFORMATION SOLUTIONS

Craig manages the information solutions function within Orion, which delivers information solutions infrastructure and provides and enhances information systems to support Orion's business processes. Craig has over 20 years' experience in the information technology sector, mostly within the electricity industry. He also manages Orion's contact centre.

John O'Donnell
GENERAL MANAGER INFRASTRUCTURE

John leads Orion's infrastructure team, which manages the safe construction, maintenance, engineering and operation of Orion's network. He has extensive experience with distribution networks, holding senior management positions in the gas and electricity industries. John is a member of the CPIT Trades Innovation Institute Advisory Board, a past board member of the Gas Association of New Zealand and chairman of the Canterbury Lifelines Utilities group.

Tas Scott
GENERAL MANAGER NETWORK DEVELOPMENT

Tas leads Orion's network development team, which plans and develops the Orion network to provide future security of supply and adequate capacity. His team also drives business development initiatives such as the upepr South Island load management service, and sales of Ground Fault Neutraliser units to other network companies. Tas has extensive experience in the generation, transmission and distribution sectors of the electricity and gas industries, and is a past president and current executive board member of the Electricity Engineers' Association of New Zealand. He is also a member of the Power Engineering Excellence Trust at the University of Canterbury.

Adrienne Sykes
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Adrienne is responsible for the human resources function of Orion, working at both strategic and operational levels within the company. She has previous experience in senior and corporate human resources roles in manufacturing, not-for-profit and commercial iwi operations.
