Asset management plan
Our asset management plan documents the asset management practices which we use as part of our optimised lifecycle electricity asset management strategy. Reviewed annually, this plan looks ahead for a period of 10 years and is a tool to ensure customers' preferred service levels are provided at the lowest long-term cost.
The plan is publicly available as required by the Electricity Information Disclosure Requirements 2004.
You can download the latest asset management plan, and previous years' asset management plans from the below table. You can request a hard copy or CD Rom of the latest asset management plan by post at no cost.
We also publish a summary of our asset management plan which outlines the main considerations, principles and strategies that influence how we manage our electricity network.
A change to our regulatory requirements meant we did not publish an asset management plan or summary in 2008.
