Orion is regulated under the Commerce Act Part 4 due to its monopoly characteristics. As part of regulation the Commerce Commission requires us to publicly disclose, annually on our website, a range of information. This information has a particular focus on our performance and our price-quality path.
Customised price-quality path application (CPP)
On June 9, 2026, we submitted a CPP application to the Commerce Commission for the five-year period 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2032 (financial years 2028 – 2032). This application seeks regulatory approval for a programme of investment to ensure we can continue to provide the safe, reliable and resilient network our customers depend on.
Our CPP application includes:
2026 Asset Management Plan
The Commerce Commission granted approval to delay publication of our 2026 AMP to align with our CPP proposal submission.
